HES currently manage the policies on behalf of Scottish Ministers. They have been supportive of the attempts to repair and restore the house.
The Landmark Trust
LT is a charity that finds new uses for historic buildings and buildings at risk primarily in the UK, by repairing, restoring and upgrading them to provide holiday accommodation. LT have been successful in obtaining funding from the National Memorial Fund to create a new access drive and to carry out essential stabilisation work to the House. After an initial phase of work to provide access and stabilise the ruin, Landmark Trust are planning develop and deliver a full restoration of the house to provide one or perhaps two separate holiday accommodation options.
